current snow pack

Anyone have any thoughts about pushing steeps this weekend considering the current snowpak and forecasted weather?
It's a roll of the dice. I doubt it's ready, but I haven't been skiing in a month and I'm going to France tomorrow. I'm just some know-it-all douchebag.
You might get lucky. But overall, I think a week of quality melt freeze is in order to really get it on the good foot. That's what I tell myself from my armchair at the lab, at least.
