And the entry-level descent ....

Aurélien Ducroz skis the Col des Cristaux (5.1), 40-50º/500m on a 680m line and the NNE Face of the Courtes (5.2), 48º/400m on a 800m line

These descents in perfect conditions raised a few eyebrows among those who have skied them (or do so regularly). Aurélien warms up with 21 turns on the Col de Christaux, and then, fires the Courtes in 29 turns with a massive slough chasing him down the line, which forces him left and onto a double bergshrund jump. Sickter meter is pinned!!!
