Ay caramba.

So this is a Diamond thread because hopefully a trip there can happen most years in the future. We wanted to climb Pervertical Sanctuary but two parties were ahead of us by the time we got there. In retrospect with more beta on hand another route would have been on tap, but given lack of knowledge and our first time up there we switched to the Casual Route. Temps around 40 F and biting winds made for some miserable moments especially after we caught a party ahead of us. Nevertheless a car-to-car epic including the summit of this monumental 14er made for a great trip, especially with some Boulder loitering added into the mix.

Until next year, hopefully some weekday when it's at least 95 in Denver!
