Had an inch of snow in Santa Fe on Saturday morning. Climbed in the lowlands at Diablo in the cold, cloudy aftermath. Found alpine sunshine and powder on the high peaks above town yesterday!
Micah's a poser.
Lake Peak: Micah loads the Gunbarrel.
But it was already loaded with gunpowder
Yeah buddy.
Then skied the line off Santa Fe Baldy down to Lake Katherine.
It's nice but we like the other one better.
Hopefully we get more moisture this week....

Looks superbe.
Re: Santa Fe dominates: April alpine powder
April powder! Apparently we've had some up here too, but I found some different moisture recently.
We went and visited Maddy's parents in CR and we managed a few sessions.
She's also almost 6 months post op AND my head feels better (for the most part). That means volcano time!

Glad to hear that your bell is getting un-rung!
Maybe we could hook up for a volcano ski in late spring. That sounds mildly amusing.

Yes yes. That sounds most entertaining. I've dulled my skills for guaranteed stupidity on many levels.
You going to be up this direction anyway?
