BC, Sunshine Coast, Tetrahedron Provincial Park, 4-5 April

That's some misnomer. Hop a ferry across Howe Sound from Horseshoe Bay to Gibson and - just like magic - it's the Sunshine Coast!
The sun did bless us for a minute, though.

The namesake peak of Tetrahedron Provincial Park

Alex skis from the summit of Steele, tidewater visible on the left.

We had a good run down the east side of Steele.

This avalanche chute had really fun terrain.

Elevation: 1000 m, give or take. Snowpack: 4 m, give or take.

Working for some epic northwest-facing powder, Howe Sound in the background, plus the avy chute we skied on Steele.

More snow last night called for investigation this morning. I wonder if he saw that sign!?

You know it's good when he makes a telemark turn.

Alex does a stability test.

Thanks for babysitting the LN2 for me, Smarajit!
