Closing weekend at Taos. Nevermind milking my pass. Backcountry conditions were epic. Set it off.
Naomi hadn't skied Lake Fork Peak. Get some.

Silky smooth.

Micah starts. Naomi continues.

Micah heads toward a freeride zone. Naomi continues.

The snow was actually powdery in the freeride zone. I was doing a snowboarder impression or something.

Naomi skins toward a col for another shot to the ski valley.

Micah drops into the line. It sure is nice that we're staying in that big lodge at the bottom.

The next day a little bird told us we could find some sweet snow in a hidden zone of radness.

I've been wanting to ski this for years. I've seen it in much better condition but since when is that a reason not to ski it?

The snow was sweet consolidated powder through here.

There's the wind.

Gapers gonna gape.

Wildlife.

The wind was keeping this part icy.

Nice and exposed. Don't fall.

EPIC SUGAR SNOW!!!

"Pour some sugar on me!"

Seriously, so good.

The lower couloir.

The apron was as creamy as it gets. Naomi and I both unsent a 5.12a today but we'll get it next time. Supposed to snow the next couple of days....
