Does anyone have any insight into how easy / hard / annoying / etc it will be to travel by train in Europe with a big ski bag and other luggage? We'll be travelling from Milan to Geneva at the end of this month with skis.

Since many of you have done at least a fair amount of travelling and skiing in Europe I thought perhaps someone could offer some insight.

When I travelled from Frankfurt to Geneva in this fashion it was as much of a PITA as you might expect carrying the ski bag onto the train and hoisting it into a good place, but other than that it wasn't a problem.
