I had an incredibly fun day. Some of the exciting stuff was that there was 15 cm of light(!!!!!) fresh snow - a novelty for me -, super sunny day, and Maddy and I broke trail, without the expert help of our other halves, for the first time. Maddy and I were constantly discussing about the best way up. At the top we found ourselves making separate skin tracks up steep terrain with tight trees. I looked back to see which skin track Andy followed when I saw him further lower going up a more gently open slope. Doh!
Andy and Maddy skinning up Nak. This was superb snow on our way back to the car later.
Thar from the summit of Nak. That couloir could be delicious when it's more filled in.
Maddy off the summit.
Andy skiing down the North side. Nice-run-great-snow STOKE!
Andy, hard to see. Pow, easily spotted.
Maddy was super stoked!
Thanks for the awesome day Andy and Maddy.
