i have been absent from this most important of forums for far too long. i feel communicative today so i am going to post pictures! i know people post, like, serious climbing trs and shit here usually but i don't care!

i see this is not working ^.
{Now it works, see edited version, KTHX - Sky}

last season we had crap snow most of the time in my part of the alps, but at least there wasn't much of it. we did have a few nice days like this:

in febuary we went to kosovo and northern albania for some rad freeski mountaineering with a crew consisting mainly of stoned frenchmen.

Then I fell down something and broke some body parts but it was ok enough to go to south america a few months later.

I've been back home for about a month. The snow is still crap but there is even less of it than usual.

Awesome recap. Thanks for adding some spice to the totally rad climbing TRs.

Please give me the location of Candilejo's as soon as possible by PM.

Also, will you be in Suisse Romande anytime soon? If so, let me know, and be sure to bring rock skis and a bad attitude.

The crawling under the tree shot must be a random pic from the Cascades right? I don't think people do that kind of shit elsewhere

Guten Morgen Sky! I had a slight fracture of the spine, a dislocated and broken ellbow and a huge thing on my thigh where blood moved around as a big blob under the skin from almost ass area to knee when changing from sitting to standing position or accelerating in car. kind of like having your own personal alien entity always handy in your leg! spinning round and round and round in a sort of body bag high on painkillers during a long line heli rescue was interesting too.

if anyone wants to comment on how to deal with accident induced fear (not the good kind, the unreasonable panicky kind), i would be grateful. i am currently conducting some character building experiments on this subject. :)

That sounds like quite the ordeal; I'm glad you're all right and way to jump into it again! Regarding panic, hopefully time heals all wounds?

Grüaß di. Awesome TR and good recovery. Regarding the panic, es geht scho' weg (it goes away). You just have to keep on going out there - this is from experience of being mangled up in accidents and now being fully back into the sport.

I'll come home to Austria one winter again when there is hopefully a killer season again.

Love this! Thanks for the inspiration.

As for the cure for accident induced fear, when weed and tears fail I focus on my breathing. That seems to calm me down.
