Ulitmate Everything via Over the Rainbow, Squamish

Maddy and I got out to climb Ultimate Everything on Thursday. This was the 5th time that I climbed to the top of the Chief this year so I was confident I could rope gun Maddy up all the way. For once too I didn't have to hike down in the dark since we started in the morning unlike all the other times.
I wanted to climb Over the Rainbow on the Apron to get to Ultimate Everything since I haven't done that yet. I was confused with the beginning and the McLane book states it's 7p (that is just wrong). I improvised with where the belays were supposed to be and we got up it in 4p.

We climbed Memorial Crack after the Rainbow.
After a short hike you have to down climb a rope and cross the gully to the start of Ultimate Everything.
We were surprised at how fast we were going. It was only noon when we arrived at the bottom of UE. We had 10 pitches to go but time was not of any concern any more. Instead our concern turned into dodging/climbing rivers coming down the rock and lakes forming from Monday's rain. I was not happy having have to get my feet wet.
It doesn't look so bad from the top but Maddy is also dancing around trying to avoid the wetness.

We were both REALLY REALLY glad to get our shoes off at the top. 600 m vert of mostly foot work was tiring.
I had fun hanging out with Maddy. I had to climb the UE once, but I'll leave it at once. As Sky said, there is nothing spectacular about any pitch, it doesn't really have 'everything' in terms of climbing and the water sucked.
