Almost a week ago already, Ryan and I circumnavigated and skied from the summit of Chika. Finally caught some time to upload pics. Fantastic trip that provided a panopoly of entertaining views and travel.









Ryan had a faraway pic of this NW face of C, and we hoped to find a weakness--but it was only in us.

from summit of Chika, now we only have to go to that distant ski area (via interminable gold creek), then walk 4 miles of road to our car. no problem.

Is that last one the summit of Chikamin? That's too fat - no longer even sporty!

yeah compared to the descent with you and Jason, it felt downright kind (w/ perhaps exception of the nontrivial route ryan and i took to get there). still quite steep/exposed at the top, but no mandatory air!
