The only problem we had was that the cornice was looming overhead. I started to tunnel up through it, but then realized that we would just have to crawl back through to transition to ski. We transitioned a few feet below the saddle.
The lower portion was still in great shape even with the sun on it.

I might have to take you up on your offer, Ryan. I would like to ski Shuksan and/or Eldorado. Also the weather is looking like another Sawtooth run this next weekend if anyone is traveling through! Probably give the North coolie on McGown a go.
