While conditions have been good, they have been warm and moderately windy. This has resulted in lots of faces that are either heavily loaded or stripped to the sun crust depending on aspect (it's all over now with snow levels back down, however).
I took this chance to explore the sheltered and heavily enneigé slopes of the mid elevations (plan du midi, Aiguilles Rouges) where the snow has been excellent.
Tom exploring the pillows off the plan. Be prepared for a shit-fight at the bottom if you get lost (which is almost inevitable).

Moar pillowz.

Submersion.

Yesterday, liz and I decided to have a pic nic on top of the Aig. de la Gliere. While we didn't make it to the top due to snow stability issues, I did ski around with this nice bottle of Chardonnay all day.

The snow was a few inches amazingly delicate blower on top of denser base with a perfect transition gradient.

Now, back to dick waving.
