More from Cham - Helbronner, Cormayeur, Nantillons

A lap on the Helbronner gets you hungry for lunch. We skied the Marbrees, its like 8k' vert or something.

Then we went and skied at Cormayeur for a couple run. Davide found the ground-level weakness.

The next day, we headed towards the Spencer couloir up on the Aguille Blatiere. You go from the Plan de Aguille and skin over to the Nantillon glacier. A long climb up the glacier eventually brings you to the base of the couloir. We got weathered out 150m from the coolie, but the ski down was still lots of awesome steep pow.

Looking across valley gives you a good idea of how low the snow is this year.

Last good light we had before getting socked.

Heading back to the Plan du Midi, stoked.

Davide and Liz's roomie Tom went back up today and got the whole line minus the top 10m of the coolie. He was stooooked. We were waking up late after a rough night and spotted him and his partner climbing the glacier from the apartment balcony.
