I've made more changes to the stylesheets and templates. It looks good to me, but I'm only using Firefox, because Firefox is so much better for me from a web design perspective (for example, it has beautiful color coding and search features when I "view source"). Please let me know if your user experience is adversely affected.

The photo trimming is clipping the right side of my GPS track for the Mount Washington TR. I use 1024 pixel as the max dimension.

1080 is currently the maximum dimension allowed, so I'm not sure why that would happen. :headscratching:

Can I get redirected to the page from which I was asked to log in at? For example, I click "reply," get to the login screen, and then am redirected to the main index instead of my reply box.

I made a feeble attempt at fixing that tonight, Drew. Now I feel tired and dumb. I'll get it done in the next few days here. I agree that it's annoying. Once I manage to learn how to do that the right way within the software, I'm going to change a lot of other similar things that annoy me too.

Finally upgraded to the latest version because I was having login and admin problems. That wasn't the solution. I eventually learned that I was having trouble because my ISP here in LA changes the IP address with almost every request. In the process I decided postcounts and registration dates are for geeks and now they're gone from the template. I'm going to look into your request again soon, Drew. I want it to behave that way, too.

I just realized this theme makes for a pretty decent 'boss screen' effect.
Think you can add a skin to serve all the graphics in ASCII?

we now have much prettier URLs. maybe soon i can fix the login behavior and smilies for Tabke and Lea.

Just updated to the latest version of the forum software and nuked many things in the process. Everything seems to be working again now. Please let me know if you notice any problems.

email messages to other users should work again now. those haven't worked for quite some time but i never bothered to look into it.

That was 27 months ago but this works now, Drew! Also, if you are browsing the forum and do a login you will now be redirected to where you were. That was a bit of a PITA and I'm not sure why they would write the software such that it always automatically deposits everyone at the same stupid root page.

my steezy little custom icons have returned. i accidentally deleted them at one point. maybe i'll put more touches on the styles and smilies soon... don't hold your breath.
