We were supposed to get lots of snow last week, somehow it all missed us, oh well. Skiing is still good enough. And I sent a 5.12b that had been kicking my ass for too long yesterday.
Micah on the uphill.
Summit was windy. Line in background on left will be awesome in future.
Some powpow.
Not bad.
Fun time.
Me too.

Re: Wheeler Peak, 2015
Indeed, Wheeler is a 4,000 m peak.
Did a little Santa Fe tour yesterday.
Lake Peak is an easily accessible zone with great terrain. Now if it would just snow some more.
Lifetime achievement type goals are visible in this one. Shhhhhhhhhh.
Clicking into the skis 7,000 ft above the Rio Grande.
Micah eases into it.
Shredding the chalky pee chute.
This was more harrowing than it looks.
North Side of Lake Peak is on the itinerary for the year.
Baldy, looking bald.
From the vantage of the last two photos we skied 1,600 vf of untracked pow in beautifully spaced trees. That was fun!
