Alpine Meadow Skipping

Although stuff is starting to look fat

We're just walking around and smelling the sweet stench of 2 stroke fumes emanating form neighbouring valleys

And skiing reverse loaded powder in the sun

Considering how hot the summer was and dry last winter was, this is rather impressive

We're just biding our time till we feel right.

In other news, I appear to be getting 'the sickness' back. I've started to draw lines on maps and stare at steep faces with longing desire again... which I haven't really done in the past year and a half... or two. Instead of looking at something and getting sick, I'm getting antsy.

Photos 3 and 5 look nothing like meadow skipping to me. That looks sweet! At least we have some snow here too even if our mountains never look like that....

Epic camera tilt. I'm pretty much holding it upside down.

Well... after 3 recent avalanche incidents (including Wayne Flann), I'm moderately glad I've decided to continue my meadow skipping. Must get high soon though. -16 to -6 in 3 hours was enough warming to spark naturals and might have coincided with at least 2 slides.

Token Joffre picture. So pretty... and starting to fill in (glacier looks fantastic)
