Had a good day out with Dr.$ and Bissel over the weekend climbing some pretty fun routes that Casey, $ and I did a few years ago. A nice way to welcome in the Spring.
E$ got us started on a nice 30m slab route Aquarmarine with a delicate move off the deck:
The route meanders to just beneath the obvious crack through the roof.
Bissel:
After that we climbed Straight Street before heading over to one of my favorites, West Face Crack on Warrior Wall. A boulder problem start followed by easy hands to killer flake with exposure to finish it off (photos by Bissel):
After that E$ went to town on Warrior Crack, a 4 star 10d (photos by bissel):
Such a fun day!

Nice looking rocks up there, what's that roof crack? Is that the Lazy Boy? Ah waunts it!
We almost went there too this weekend but we ended up in Tieton instead (first time for me). Didn't bring a camera but Winds of Change and Aboriginal Design

Oh nevermind, I guess that's on the Eightmile Buttress at something called 'The Bro's Nest.' Lol
Re: Duty Dome and Warrior Wall
The current edition of the Ltown climbing guide says that roof crack has yet to be free'd. Go get 'er.....

Re: Duty Dome and Warrior Wall
that was a blast. funny huevon, was talking about Winds of Change that same day, one of me faves in ltd experience around Tieton.
we first hit the appropriately named Off Duty area of Duty Dome; i believe that we ended up on Kitty Corner and not Straight Street, but these two climbs are right next to each other.
that Warrior line is so cool, long corner gets topped with a section of mildly overhanging gear-protected sporto moves. HIGHLY recommended.

Nice E$, will have to get on the Warrior, I'm definitely enjoying the .10+/.11- range these days for quality steep climbing on good protection.
Is that a heel hook I see there? That's some kinky stuff
