Yogi Bear

It's been so long since I posted anything I'm not sure if I remember how....
It's been a weird almost 6 months now since I had surgery. When I tore my acl a few years ago I fell into a severe depression and came out of rehab starved for activity. This time, I haven't had the same hunger. Something about finding the thrill of adventure in the balance of living happily day to day seems to have paced my alpine reintegration. So I'm hesitant to post here amidst Naomi's Radness, Ross's hardness, Justin's jet setting-ness, Marq's marq-ness, and Sky's general sickness. But y'all are like family so what the hell.
I just got back from a trip to Bozeman for some leisure. Got to walk some greens with my Mom:
and watch my parents and Merica eat a St. Louis style smoked pig in front of me:
One of the nice things about having family in Bozeman is that I don't feel rushed to find the plums when I visit. Merica and I were in chill mode so we decided on some super easy cragging one afternoon. And what's more chill than Yogi Bear?
Bozeman has many attractions. Which is probably why the first and only people we saw all day asked if we were bird watchers
Bozeman choss, er, limestone:
Nothing like a few fun pitches with a fun trail-less hidden arch cruxed walk off and a super fun always smiling partner to make me remember why I like climbing so much.
Thanks Merica for taking all these great photos!
