another Coleman Headwall TR

Post by Alex »

I google'd "Coleman Headwall ski" and SkiSickness came up 4th, so I decided I'd put another one up and help Sky out with his internet millionaire - part time astro-nuclear physicist - part time ski bum - part time climbing bum dreams. I guess he's almost living the dream...
but I digress, maybe it'll come up 3rd now:

Maddy skis some icy "fun" and makes it look less sketchy than it was

Fun ski. We had some hard wind-packed snow at the top, but 3/4 of it was beautiful corn. The low cloud cover kept the Coleman glacier nice too.

Sorry to refresh this one, but I'm stoked.
When I was layed up on the couch after surgery I got an e-mail asking for outdoors club members to submit pictures for the Cloudburst newsletter. So I sent some in.
(The combination of prescription narcotics, anti-inflammatories and scotch that I was taking didn't help with my attempt at correcting the colour)

Wow, it took all my years of skiing apprenticeship to pull that line off.

Maddy does it in her first season. That's wild.Right on.

^^ Yes, Andy, I simultaneously want to say

"Way to go, you two!"

and

"Knock that shit off you wanton whackjob kids!"

But such is life. I'm sure plenty of people felt compelled (and rightfully so) to say the latter to me over the years.

WAY TO GO, ALEX AND MADDY! Way to put a beautiful Washington mountain on the cover of your BC magazine.
