"One to grow on"

This year it was a border-crossing birthday spanking.

A pleasant start after a few hours on skins.

Not nearly early enough the next morning, glad we didn't take that drainage.

My working hypothesis, once again verified. We cross the border swath into the USA and life begins to suck.

Bailing, tucking tail, discretion is the better part of valor: too bad we didn't have any discretion during the two preceding days.

We bailed. We did not climb anything. Here, E_$ enjoys powder before we make circles in the flat valley for an hour, contemplate my compass and which arrow goes with north, and finally reach the car well after midnight.

Yup, one to grow on.

I haven't heard from you so I am glad to see that you did enjoy your birthday. Some beautiful pictures, really clear shots. Humm and one to grow on and on and on

Damn, it's been too long since I've experienced a real cascade-style beatdown. I need to get back to my corner in the rainforest where I can cry alone.

Seriously though; that looks like some cool territory there.
