The Southeast Face of Alaska Mountain offers superlative fall line skiing.
Featuring about 2300 vertical feet averaging 40 degrees, this face is as classic as they get. Martin Volken and Chris Solomon really picked a cherry in May 2001 on this one. We found exquisitely creamy corn during a spring-like weather window in February 2007, with an easy approach up and down Gold Creek on snow.
Go get it.
